ABOUT OUR CAT FOOD

None of our cat foods are the “cuts in gravy” style pet foods that are subject to the recall.

None of our products contain any wheat gluten of any kind.
|
|
All of the rice flour used in our pate style products is domestic. We do not use imported rice flour nor do we use any rice gluten or rice gluten concentrate of any kind.

|
Our pate style foods contain fish protein concentrate and spray dried whole egg, both of which are sourced from the US; our oat bran is sourced from Canada.
|
|
Our “chunks of fish in a can” style 3 oz and 5.5 oz pet foods are not manufactured by Menu Foods and are imported from Thailand.

|
We continue to feed our cat food to our 5 cats, as well as a “friend of the boys” who has been coming in the pet door to dine at our establishment.

|
After the line-caught tuna is brought to the cannery, an army of skilled workers scale and clean each one by hand.
|
|
After cleaning, the tuna is filleted by hand, removing the bones and preparing the fish for packing.
|
|
Hundreds of pairs of hands move swiftly and deftly through the air, weighing out the correct amount of tuna and hand packing each can.
