The Fairtrade certification label is a mark on products that signifies they meet rigorous social, environmental, and economic standards for producers. When a product has this label, it means it supports safe working conditions, environmental protection, and sustainable livelihoods for farmers and workers

PETA maintains a list of coconut milk brands and producers that have been vetted and confirmed to be monkey-labor-free through cooperation with the companies involved.

A Certified CCOF label indicates that a product has been certified as organic by California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF), a USDA-accredited certifying agency. This label can be used on its own or alongside the USDA Organic seal and signifies that the product meets strict organic standards, which include being produced without synthetic pesticides, hormones, or GMOs.

A "dolphin safe" tuna label indicates that the tuna was caught using methods that do not involve chasing and encircling dolphins, which can lead to their accidental death. In the United States, the label is regulated by the Dolphin Protection Consumer Information Act, requiring that no dolphins were killed or seriously injured during the fishing of that tuna.

The USDA organic certification label (or seal) is a federal government mark that identifies agricultural products produced according to the rigorous standards of the National Organic Program (NOP). The use of the seal is protected by law to prevent fraud and assure consumers of the product's integrity.

MSC certified sustainable seafood comes from fisheries that are independently certified by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) to meet rigorous standards for sustainability. The blue MSC label on seafood products indicates that the fish was caught in a way that maintains healthy fish stocks, minimizes environmental impact, and is traceable to a sustainable source. This certification is verified by third-party auditors to ensure the seafood's sustainability.

A kosher label, or hechsher, is a certified symbol that indicates a food product complies with the complex requirements of kashrut (Jewish dietary laws). The symbol is issued by a rabbinical certification agency that supervises the product's ingredients and production process.
